Current Programmes
Three courses built around the discipline of careful learning.
Each programme is presented below with a consistent structure: who it is for, what it covers, what it asks of you, and how long it runs.
Programme 01
Introductory Course in Data-Oriented Programming
RM 2,460 · 10 weeks · Small group
For learners who need to build programming foundations before approaching machine learning work. The course develops clear data-oriented thinking and careful habits around reading, writing, and testing code. Weekly sessions in small groups are supplemented by written material and supervised exercises. The pace allows a learner to internalise each concept before the next is introduced.
- Practical use of numerical and data-handling libraries
- Reading and interpreting unfamiliar code
- Testing and validating data operations
- Suitable for learners new to structured programming
Programme 02
Applied Natural Language Processing Programme
RM 3,640 · 10 weeks · Mentor-led
A practical programme for learners with prior Python exposure and some grounding in machine learning concepts. The focus is on realistic NLP workflows: text pre-processing, representation, model selection, and principled evaluation. Mentor-led sessions and written feedback support the work throughout. The emphasis is on understanding why a chosen approach fits the problem, rather than applying tools without context.
- Text pre-processing and representation methods
- Selecting and evaluating models in real workflows
- Written mentor feedback on submitted work
- Requires Python and foundational ML background
Programme 03
Mentored Study Group for Research Paper Reading
RM 1,840 · Quarterly schedule · Group study
A mentored group for learners who want to engage more confidently with current machine learning literature. Each session works through one or two papers selected for their clarity and relevance. The group reads carefully, questions assumptions, and builds steady habits of grounded technical discussion under the guidance of an experienced mentor. No pressure to perform — only the expectation of genuine engagement with the material.
- Curated paper selection each quarter
- Guided discussion and reasoned scepticism
- Builds habits of careful, critical reading
- Open to learners across experience levels
Questions
Common enquiries about our programmes
Who are these programmes suited to?
The Data-Oriented Programming course is suited to learners with little or no prior programming experience who intend to work toward machine learning study. The NLP programme requires some Python familiarity and a basic grasp of ML concepts. The Research Paper reading group is open to anyone with a genuine interest in engaging with technical literature, regardless of experience level.
How much time should I expect to set aside each week?
The ten-week courses are designed around roughly six to eight hours of engagement per week — one or two group sessions plus time spent on written exercises and reading. The study group meets less frequently, typically once a fortnight, though participants are expected to read the selected papers independently beforehand.
Are the sessions live or pre-recorded?
All group sessions are live and scheduled in advance with participants. Written materials, exercises, and reference documents are provided through the course platform and can be accessed at any time. Recordings of sessions are made available to enrolled learners for review.
What does the course fee include?
Fees cover access to all live sessions, written study materials, supervised exercises, and mentor feedback. For the ten-week programmes, this includes individual written feedback on submitted work. The study group fee covers the full quarterly schedule. There are no additional purchases required during the course.
Can I request sample material before enrolling?
Yes. Prospective learners are welcome to request a sample of written materials and a brief outline of the first session for any programme. We think it is important that you have a clear sense of the teaching style and depth of content before committing. Simply use the enquiry form below.
How do I know if the NLP programme is at the right level for me?
We recommend a brief conversation with one of our mentors before you commit. They can get a sense of where you are and advise honestly about whether this programme or the Data-Oriented Programming course would be a more suitable starting point. There is no obligation attached to that conversation.
Take your time
Not sure which programme fits where you are right now?
Request sample material for any programme and read it privately. When you are ready to ask questions or discuss enrolment, a mentor is available — without any pressure to decide quickly.
